The oldest 110-year-old man in Japan died 22:47 on August 26, Ibaraki

A 110-year-old man from Shimotsuma City, Ibaraki Prefecture, who was the oldest man in Japan, died due to aging.

Mr. Motoi Fukunishi of Shimotsuma City, Ibaraki Prefecture, died at the age of 110. According to his relatives and prefecture, he died at the hospital he was hospitalized on the 22nd of this month due to aging.

Mr. Fukunishi was born in Shimotsuma City in 1868, worked as a teacher for elementary and junior high schools for many years, and was the director of a kindergarten in the city until the age of 105.

From 11th of this month, I was the oldest man in Japan.

Fukunishi's daughter's husband, Fusao Asano, said, “I like sweet food, and until around May, I was impressed with the smile of a favorite manjuu manju.”

According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, the oldest man in Japan is Mikizo Ueda (110) in Nara.
