Sendai High Court Judge SNS Post Second Alert "Wording that undermines trust" August 27, 4:19

The Supreme Court took disciplinary action on 26th, stating that a judge from the Sendai High Court decimated the judge by posting on Facebook. This is the second time the judge has been reprimanded for posting on SNS.

The disciplinary action for the reprimand was given by Judge Okaguchi Kiichi (54) of the Sendai High Court.

In November of last year, I posted on my Facebook page about the bereaved family in the case where a high school girl was murdered, "I was brainwashed by the Tokyo High Court etc. to blame myself", and it was punished by the Supreme Court's limited trial. It was being heard.

Naoto Otani, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Grand Court, issued a decision on the 26th, saying, ``I have a widespread suspicion that he is a judge who cannot understand and consider the emotions of crime victims and their bereaved families. It is a behavior that undermines the public's credibility. It is one year after receiving the warning from posting on Twitter, and this posting has reached this posting, and I can not overlook it," and punished the warning.

Judge Okaguchi had previously received strict attention from the Tokyo High Court for posting on Twitter regarding this case, and had been punished for retribution by law for posting on Twitter regarding another case.

Sendai High Court "Notice is regrettable"

The Sendai High Court commented, "It is regrettable that a judge belonging to this High Court has come to be warned, and we take this seriously."
