The Saudi Traffic Department stated, on its Twitter account, that leaving children in the car alone is a traffic violation, indicating that the fine will range between 300 to 500 riyals, according to the Saudi newspaper, "Ajel".

The newspaper pointed out that the Saudi Traffic warned against the danger of leaving children under the age of ten in the vehicle without an adult escort, indicating that this is a traffic violation mentioned in the schedule of violations and the perpetrator is punished with a fine of 300 to 500 riyals.
