A child accidentally hangs herself on a trapeze in Lebanon
A child accidentally hanged herself while riding a hammock near her home in Baalbek, eastern Lebanon, where she died hours after being taken to hospital.
The Lebanese newspaper "Al-Nahar" reported that yesterday, Tuesday, the child Rasha Al-Hassan, who has Syrian nationality, was found hanged in a swing rope attached to a tree in front of her home.
The girl, the victim, was immediately taken to the Dar Al-Amal University Hospital in the city, where her condition was described as serious, and she soon died.
The Lebanese police opened an investigation to find out the causes of the accident. It was found that the child, while riding on the swing, wrapped one of her ropes around her neck, which led to her death by suffocation.
