[Explanation] The new crown pneumonia epidemic continues to spread in Hong Kong, businesses have been hit hard, and many shops are facing successive closures. This tailoring shop, located in an inconspicuous corner of Tsim Sha Tsui, is also from Men Ting Ruo City to Men Ke Luo Que. This is a huge challenge, and it ruined my business. I will not cry, I will not yell at the government. I am very happy that I talk to my customers every day, and I take my customers to visit my shop. I lowered the price and it was the cheapest in 22 years. I can receive every customer who comes, because there are too few customers. For 19 years, I used to receive up to 40 customers a day, and now if I have one customer, I feel very lucky.

[Explanation] "Sam Tailor" is a tailor-made tailoring shop with a 63-year history in Hong Kong. Luo Shang is the third-generation manager of this shop. The Indian businessman who has lived in Hong Kong for more than 40 years told reporters that Hong Kong is his favorite city and his homeland that he cannot give up.

I am Indian, but I am a Hong Kong resident, so is my father, so are my children, and my roots are here. I would rather stay in Hong Kong than anywhere else. Tell me where you want to go. Among all available statistics, Hong Kong, China is the best place.

[Commentary] Luo Shang speaks extremely fast, often accompanied by exaggerated expressions and movements. Whenever he talks about Hong Kong, Luo Shang will have his eyes shining. He marvels at the perfection of Hong Kong and the "extraordinary efforts" of Hong Kong people. In 2000, Rochamp returned from studying abroad and working. He started from the bottom of the tailor shop and participated in the growth of the tailor shop. He also witnessed the development and changes of Hong Kong after the return of Hong Kong.

Hong Kong is an amazing place. We are very safe, we have no crime, no murder, no guns, no violence. (Hong Kong) The development is huge. My life is getting better every year. Please tell me, where are we stagnating? Before 1997, our parks were destroyed. They are rubbish. Look at our current park. It is really great. Children can play everywhere.

[Explanation] In June 2019, Hong Kong broke out a long-term turmoil of amendments, which severely affected the society and the economy and people's livelihood. In this regard, Rochamp said that he did not want to comment too much. He called himself an "optimistic evolutionist". He hoped that the government and the people would understand each other, be united, focus on the present and focus on the future.

I can’t condemn them. I’m not that kind of person. I don’t want to destroy things like that, but I feel sad. This is one of the saddest moments in my life. When I see Hong Kong people destroying their streets, they treat me There is no reason for this. We cannot change what has happened in the past two years. What has happened has already happened. What we can do is build a better future for all of us. By listening to each other’s opinions and making progress, you cannot build by fighting. And move forward, you will not build and move forward through stubbornness.

[Explanation] Hong Kong was pushed to the pinnacle of international debate during the turmoil of the amendments, and faced the most severe pressure and challenges since its return. However, this wave has not yet subsided and the epidemic has risen again. Luo Shang understands the anxiety of the citizens and at the same time understands the embarrassment of the government.

As responsible citizens, we need to give our elected officials time and breathing space to solve all this. You cannot pressure officials who have never experienced this. No one in Hong Kong has experienced this. So you can't suddenly say that they are not suitable for this job, so who is suitable for this job?
