As CNN relays, the episode will be filmed in October and aired before the election. In the production, we will find Thomas Schlamme, longtime collaborator of Aaron Sorkin, the creator of the series, and also executive producer of The West Wing .

Michelle Obama will also take the stage

The episode will be presented in the form of a play, and will be shot in a theater in Los Angeles. The cast remains unchanged. We will therefore find Rob Lowe, Richard Schiff or Martin Sheen in their respective roles. And since the episode is made for the benefit of Michelle Obama's association, the former First Lady will also take the stage.

The West Wing was broadcast in France under the title A la Maison Blanche in the early 2000s on France 2. Considered by many to be one of the best series of all time, it won three Golden Globes and 26 Emmy Awards.
