A missed opportunity

This is what appealed to Melissa Fumero. Her character from Latin American was changed to a white girl named Fanny. The same goes for the character of Rosa Diaz played by Stephanie Beatriz. "I am suddenly curious to know the Latino population of Quebec", she commented on Twitter.

Before adding: “I have thought about this a lot. I understand that the Latino population is very small in Quebec, but the roles of Amy and Rosa could have gone to any person of color. It is therefore disappointing to see this missed opportunity ”. Melissa Fumero is hopeful that if the series is successful, the creators will add more characters and actors of color.
