According to the Hunan Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection: Huang Huiyong, deputy secretary and deputy director of the Hunan Provincial Health Commission, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision by the Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection.

Huang Huiyong, male, Han nationality, was born in November 1963 in Nan County, Hunan. He started working in June 1990 and joined the Communist Party of China in April 1994.
From March 1997 to July 1998, he served as deputy director of the Basic Department of Hunan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and deputy director of the Institute of Chinese Medicine Diagnostics;
From July 1998 to September 2006, he served successively as Deputy District Chief of Yongding District, Zhangjiajie City, Member of the Standing Committee of Wulingyuan District Committee and Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee, and Secretary and Director of the Party Leadership Group of Zhangjiajie Development and Reform Commission;
From September 2006 to September 2011, he served as member of the Standing Committee and Secretary-General of the Zhangjiajie Municipal Party Committee, and secretary of the Working Committee of the municipal organs directly under the government;
From September 2011 to July 2017, served as Secretary of the Party Committee of Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Provincial Research Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine);
Since July 2017, he has served successively as Deputy Secretary and Deputy Director of the Party Leadership Group of the Hunan Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission, Deputy Secretary and Deputy Director of the Party Leadership Group of the Hunan Provincial Health Commission, and Director of the Hunan Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
