On the morning of August 19, the reporter learned from Daguanlou Street that 21 vehicles fell due to the collapse. At about 5 in the morning, 15 vehicles that fell into the pit were hoisted, and 6 were not hoisted. At present, the scene has been encircled, and the relevant departments are investigating the specific cause of the collapse.

The rescue workers at the scene told reporters that the square had been vacant for a long time, and there were not many people and vehicles in and out of the square. In addition, the road collapse occurred late at night and there was no one in the fallen car, so no casualties were caused. The reporter saw at the scene that the square was adjacent to the Jinsha River, and the Yiwu Small Commodity Market next to it was affected by the previous flood peak, and the water had flooded into the shops on the ground floor. At present, a cordon has been set up around the square, and no information has been received that the lives of residents have been affected.
