Earlier, a farewell ceremony was held with the actor. It was visited by hundreds of people, including the chairman of the Moscow City Duma Alexei Shaposhnikov, the rector of GITIS Grigory Zaslavsky, People's Artist of Russia Sergei Garmash and others.
Gubenko died on August 16 at the 79th year of his life.
He starred with such directors as Marlen Khutsiev, Gleb Panfilov and Sergey Bondarchuk. He was elected a deputy of the State Duma, headed the committee on culture.
