Why this book?
- Because it has been translated into 37 languages in more than 50 countries and sold over 100 million copies, the Twilight wave has largely contributed to the explosion of teenage literature as a whole.
- Because in 2008, when the first chapters of Midnight Sun leaked onto the Internet, writer Stephenie Meyer decided that this “bonus” volume to the previous four would not see the light of day, to the chagrin of fans of the saga. Twelve years later, the most nostalgic among them can finally get their teeth into this volume they no longer expected.
- Because Midnight Sun plunges the reader into the mind of the mysterious Edward Cullen. The plot remains the same, but the storytelling from the vampire's point of view brings a new dimension to the series and makes the hero more accessible, despite his immortal status. In addition, we learn more about his past and, that is blessed bread for the fans (even those who have become adults and who no longer take too much their past love for glitter vampires)!

The plot. The meeting between Edward Cullen and Bella Swan, this time experienced through the eyes of the vampire.
Characters. We of course find again Bella and her father sheriff as well as the Cullens: Esme, Carlisle, Edward, Emmet, Rosalie, Alice and Jasper. This new tome allows you to spend more time with the Cullens and get to know them better.
Places. The story takes place in the small town of Forks, Washington.
The time. The story begins when Bella moves to live with her father.
The author. Stephenie Meyer is an American author known worldwide for her Twilight saga . She also signed the very (very) good Les Âmes Vagabondes , also adapted for the cinema in 2013 by Andrew Niccol.
