At 5 o'clock on August 18th, the Sichuan Provincial Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters launched a Class I flood control emergency response, which was the first time in the history of the province. The flood control situation in Leshan City, Sichuan Province, where the Qingyi River, Minjiang River and Dadu River meet, is extremely severe. Affected by heavy rains and upstream floods, the water levels of Leshan Minjiang River, Qingyi River, and Dadu River rose rapidly, and the Leshan Giant Buddha's foot platform was flooded again, and the flood water had overflowed the toes of the Buddha's feet.
