Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 18th that 45 new people were confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus. The number of confirmed infections was 31 in Fukuoka City and 7 in Kitakyushu City. A total of 3728 people were confirmed infected in Fukuoka Prefecture.
Kitakyushu City announced on the 18th that a man in his 80s in Kokuraminami Ward, who had been treated by a new coronavirus and was being treated at a medical institution, died.
