According to the Daini Tokyo Bar Association, Sonoda reconciled a client who was introduced by a brokerage business operator who requested overpayment refunds three years ago, reconciled with a money lender and recovered 1.7 million. It means that the yen was not returned.
It also means that they were requesting refunds of overpaid money from people who were not delegated to the money lender, and soliciting requests for refunds from many people who were unfamiliar with them, contrary to the official regulations.
For this reason, the Daini Tokyo Bar Association has decided that Sonoda will be the heaviest expulsion among the disciplinary measures by 17th, saying that "there is no intention to fulfill his responsibilities or mission as a lawyer."
