Starting from the evening of August 15th, a new round of continuous heavy rains occurred in Sichuan, which led to large floods in all rivers in Mianyang. Among them, the Fujian River experienced a major flood once in 50 years. On August 17, the water level of the Mianyang section of the Fujiang River continued to rise, exceeding the blockade warning value, posing a serious threat to the safety of the Fujiang Bridge on the Baocheng Railway. In order to ensure the safety of Baocheng railway transportation, China Railway Chengdu Bureau Group Co., Ltd. immediately activated the flood control emergency plan and quickly blocked the inspection line. The two heavy cargo trains were rushed up and down by locomotives on the Baocheng Railway. Jiang bridge, dealing with the flood peak crossing.

The "heavy vehicle pressure beam" uses a locomotive to push the train onto the bridge at the rear, and the train stays on the bridge until the water level drops below the blockade warning value to ensure the safety and stability of the Fujiang Bridge against flood peaks and the personal safety of the operators.
