The first birth case of a sick Sorba, Corona ... and the newborn is not infected
Tishreen Military Hospital in Damascus recorded the first birth of a woman infected with Covid-19 virus without the fetus being infected with it. A 38-week pregnant woman went to the hospital and was infected with corona for about two weeks and was admitted to the medical isolation department.
After the follow-up of the multidisciplinary committee, it decided to terminate the pregnancy by cesarean section that was performed on Thursday, while adhering to all the recommended isolation precautions according to the protocol in force in the hospital with Corona patients.
The hospital indicated on its official Facebook page that the mother is in good health, as is the newborn, who was found not to be infected with the virus.
