At 12 o'clock on August 16, the three-and-a-half-month summer fishing suspension in the South China Sea ended. The ban on 16,700 fishing boats in Hainan Province was lifted and they went out to sea one after another. It is understood that this year is the 22nd year of the implementation of the summer fishing moratorium in the South China Sea. The moratorium will start at 12 o'clock on May 1. The fishing moratorium is the South China Sea (including the Beibu Gulf) from 12 degrees north latitude to the "junction line of Fujian and Guangdong seas".
