According to the fire department in Shizuoka Prefecture, at least 37 people were suspected of having heat stroke to medical institutions by 4 pm on the 16th.
Of these, three were seriously ill, including a woman in her 70s in Fukuroi city and a man in her 50s in Fuji city, all of whom were unconscious in their own room and were taken to a medical institution.
Also, in Shimoda City, a woman in her twenties who was bathing in the sea complained of heat stroke and was severely ill. In addition, a 103-year-old woman in Numazu City has become more conscious of her own home, but there is no difference in her life.
