Nara Prefecture and Nara City announced that a total of 25 men and women, including 19 students belonging to the Tenri University rugby club, were newly confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
The number of people announced in Nara Prefecture on the 1st exceeded the 21 people announced on the 1st of this month, the largest number ever.
A total of 394 people were confirmed infected in Nara Prefecture.
