A man died at a beach in Shizuoka Atami August 16 at 18:57
On the afternoon of the 16th, a man was found floating in the sea at a beach in Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture, and was transferred to a hospital but died.
At around 4:00 pm on the 16th, a firefighter reported that a man was drowning, from a person related to the Tourism Association near Nagahama Beach in Atami.
A man was floating unconscious about 30 meters offshore, rescued by a life saver and taken to a hospital, where he was found dead.
According to the police, the one who died was Takeshi Ito (59) from Kawasaki City who had come to the beach with his colleagues.
The police are investigating the situation at the time.
