54 people transported in suspected Aichi heat stroke 90-year-old man died August 16 at 18:50
According to Aichi Prefecture, by 3:00 pm on the 16th, 54 people in the prefecture were suspected of having heat stroke and were transported to a hospital, of which a man in his 90s in Nishio City died.
According to the fire department, the man was found unconscious on his bed at home around 8 am on the 16th and was taken to a hospital in the city, where he was confirmed dead.
This is the fifth person in Aichi Prefecture to die of suspicion of heatstroke after the 9th of this month.
