He suffers financial hardship due to the termination of his services from work

“Abu Saeed” is unable to pay 21,000 dirhams for the cost of his wife's birth

(Abu Saeed - Pakistani) is unable to pay 21,000 dirhams for the cost of his wife’s birth in Al Ain Governmental Hospital, as his wife gave birth to her first child by Caesarean section in July last year, and the father appeals to the good people to help him pay the amount due, in light of the financial distress he is going through as a result Finally ending his services from his job.

(Abu Said) stated that the doctors had to perform the operation on his wife, after medical analyzes and x-rays confirmed that her life and the life of the child were at risk, adding that it was decided to place his (Saeed) child in intensive care for premature infants, so that the value of the birth bill and the child's stay in the hospital reached 21,804 Dirhams.

And a medical report issued by Al Ain Governmental Hospital, of which Emirates Today obtained a copy, showed that "the birth took place at the beginning of the ninth month of pregnancy, because the fetus was exposed to a lack of oxygen access and a decrease in the sugar level."

He added that the mother's condition was not stable either, as a result of her exposure to severe high blood pressure and sugar, which led to an accelerated heartbeat of the fetus, which necessitated his stay in the intensive care unit immediately after the birth process.

"medical report":

• "The mother's condition was not stable, as a result of her exposure to severe high blood pressure and sugar."

• The father suffers from a poor financial situation. In addition to the hospital bill, he is unable to pay rental arrears.

The father said that he resides in Al Ain, and his wife had four attempts to become pregnant, all of which were unsuccessful. He continued: “My wife underwent her tests in a private hospital by a specialized doctor, and she was given a set of medicines. After nearly six months, the doctor overseeing my wife's condition told me that she was pregnant, so I was very happy, and I could not bear myself with joy, as I would have my first child. My joy increased after we visited a private hospital, and the tests found that the sex of the fetus was male. But what was troubling me at that time was thinking about how to pay the cost of childbirth, as my services had finally been terminated, and I did not have a steady monthly income source.

He added: “In the ninth month of pregnancy, I transferred my wife to Al Ain Hospital while she was in labor pains. Her delivery was difficult, so the concerned doctor decided to bring her to the operating room immediately, where she underwent a cesarean section, and the newborn came in an unstable health condition, which necessitated his admission to the intensive care unit, where he stayed for two days under observation and continuous medical care.

The father added: “The total bill for childbirth and my child receiving medical care amounted to 21,804 dirhams, and this is a large amount compared to my limited financial capabilities. I am the only provider for my family members, and my services were finally terminated from my job due to the closure of the institution in which I worked. I also suffer from a bad financial situation in general. In addition to the hospital bill, I am unable to pay the amount I have accumulated from the rental arrears.

The father appealed to the people of good and merciful hearts to help him manage the hospital bill.
