The owner of the house filed a lawsuit demanding payment against him

"Moataz" is unable to pay 114.8 thousand dirhams in arrears for 3 years

(Moataz - Sudani - 43 years old) is unable to pay 114 thousand and 828 dirhams in rent arrears accumulated on him for the house in which he lives with his elderly parents for the past three years.

And the owner of the house filed a lawsuit against him demanding payment, and he is threatened with imprisonment at any time, and he is diabetic, and he appeals to good people to help him pay.

"I live with my elderly parents, and my family used to depend on two sources of monthly income. My father works in the private sector with a salary of 8,000 dirhams, and I work in the government sector with a salary of 2,500 dirhams, and our financial life was stable," Moataz told Emirates Today.

He continued: “In 2017, my father had health problems that made him unable to work, so his services were dispensed with, and I became the sole breadwinner for the family, and I could not meet our needs of housing and food, as my monthly salary is very simple.”

He added, "I feel very sad whenever I look at my elderly father and mother's face, after they knew that I was threatened with imprisonment at any time, and we were unable to manage the rent arrears and daily expenses."

He said, "I suffer from diabetes, high blood pressure, and spend 600 dirhams a month to buy some of the therapeutic drugs that I need daily."

He added, "I fear that the day will come when I will be imprisoned because of my deteriorating financial situation, my inability to pay rent arrears, and my parents will become homeless, homeless, without a breadwinner and support for them."

He appealed to people of merciful hearts to help him pay rent arrears and provide shelter for his family.

Moataz: “My salary is 2,500 dirhams and I spend 600 dirhams a month to buy diabetes medication.”
