According to the official Weibo news of the Anshan City Public Security Bureau of Liaoning Province, the Xiuyan County Public Security Bureau issued a case report on the 15th, saying that on August 9, 2020, Majiapu, Yanghe Town, Xiuyan County, Anshan City Village Hu XX (female, 60 years old, from Xiuyan County) was killed. On the morning of August 15, after 6 days and nights of fighting, the case was successfully solved.

After the case occurred, the public security organs at the provincial, city and county levels carried out investigations. Upon investigation, the deceased's husband Wang Chuanlai (male, 57 years old, from Xiuyan County) was suspected of major crimes and had absconded.
