Al-Barari affirmed in statements to the episode (15/8/2020) of the "Beyond the News" program that Tehran believes that its neighbor, the Emirates, establish normalized relations with Israel, and that it must respond and not stand idly by seeing Israel as part of the security of the Gulf region, especially since Iran classifies Israel as an aggressive usurping entity.

At the same time, he pointed to dozens of attacks launched by Israel on Iranian bases in Syria, which confirms that the two sides are in a state of hostility and war, and not just slogans exchanged between the two sides.

Although Al-Barari spoke about the pragmatism of the UAE in its relations with Iran, as it maintains trade relations with it that exceeds $ 14 billion annually, and he also affirmed Iran's need for trade relations with the UAE, especially in light of the economic crises it suffers from due to US sanctions, he stressed All this could end in one moment, if Tehran realizes that the UAE was the reason for making Israel part of the region’s security.

Although Hassan Royoran, a researcher on Iranian issues, affirmed the UAE's right to establish relations with any country it wants, he said that this does not apply to Israel, which is not a state but an entity that usurps an Islamic and Arab land.

Ruyoran said that Tehran is now watching the UAE very carefully, but it will never be complacent if it sees that there is something threatening its security and the security of the region.

He asked, "What does the UAE expect Iran to respond to, if Abu Dhabi decided to invite the" Israeli entity "to conduct naval maneuvers in the region's waters?", Stressing that Iran will not allow this at all, because the UAE will have brought enemies to the region and left them wreaking havoc.

But the researcher Tawfiq Hamid defended the UAE's right to establish relations with Israel, and justified this by the UAE's desire to protect itself from neighboring Iran, which possesses a nuclear weapon.

Hamid asked what the UAE would do if “it was decided suddenly and by order of the Wilayat al-Faqih to use it (nuclear weapons) against it,” describing Iran as a country not governed by logic, stressing the UAE’s right to reap the fruits of peace, as happened with Egypt.

But Al-Barari responded to Hamid, stressing that Iran does not pose any danger to the Emirates, and that the two countries want stability in the region, and said that if the reason for the UAE's alliance with Israel was fear of Iran, then the first would have been the alliance with the United States, and not with the last occupying country. Earth face.

Al-Barari stressed that the UAE gave justification to other Gulf countries to catch up with normalization, rejecting also the comparison between the UAE and Egypt in the relationship with Israel, as the UAE does not link borders with Israel, nor has it fought any war against it and did not receive refugees.

But Al-Barari explained the Emirati desire for normalization with Israel by meeting the interests of the two parties, as both of them stand against the Arab Spring revolutions, and both support military systems that are unacceptable to the Arab peoples.

He stressed that these regimes are ready to make concessions to Israel and America in return for their remaining positions, pointing out that the UAE aspires to a major role in the region, but it is playing with fire.
