Half a million households need to switch from analog to digital viewing at Comhem.

Anyone who has a TV set that was manufactured before 2008 may need to buy a new one to be able to watch TV. Something that can affect many older people.

- You may not be able to afford it, or you may not know how to do it. Many of our members are not digital and need help, says Ola Nilsson.

"Do not hang out with loved ones"

Comhem's press spokesperson Fredrik Hallstam recommends that those who have difficulty with the technology ask a relative for help, call customer service or have the installation arranged by a "home fixer" for SEK 399.

- But as an older person, it is not so appropriate to let anyone in right now. You should not hang out with loved ones either, says Ola Nilsson.

Should be postponed

PRO would have liked to see Comhem wait with its digital transition.

- Much else must be upside down right now. Then you might think that this too could have been postponed.

- Comhem has certainly been very good at informing in advance. In fact, they have not done anything wrong. But it is inappropriate for the change to take place right now.
