Ehime Prefecture announced that it has been confirmed that a female nurse who newly works at a prefectural central hospital in Matsuyama City was infected with the new coronavirus. The address and age are not disclosed.
The doctors in the wards where the nurses work have already been tested for PCR, and all have been confirmed as negative.
A total of 109 people were confirmed infected in the prefecture.
