And it helped to promote the trend of presenting short dramas, as the popularity of electronic display platforms, such as "Netflix", "Watch" and "Watch It", to buy the rights to display these works, since they fit the mood of the viewers of these platforms, who tend to view these works over the phone. And therefore it is necessary to present a work that attracts him in a fast rhythm and interesting events that attract him to watch the episodes, unlike the traditional series of 30 episodes, which may suffer in many cases from slack and stretch that pushes the viewer to leave it, and choose other works to watch in light of the availability of many options.

Among the short works that were presented in the recent period, the Saudi series “Wasaws”, which Netflix announced its show starting from last June, is the first Saudi drama and suspense work to acquire, indicating that it provides a different perspective on Gulf drama in proportion to the nature of the followers. Writer Ahmed Fawzi Saleh considered that the short business experience represents a real challenge to the work team, especially the writer and director, but at the same time it is necessary to keep pace with technological changes and the prosperity of electronic platforms, and the accompanying difference in the recipient's taste and his desire to pursue good fast work at the same time, pointing out, In his statements, that electronic platforms have opened the way for the emergence of a new drama and a new style of writing, commensurate with the new generation and its close relationship with the mobile phone, and it barely leaves his hand throughout the day, so it is necessary to present a strong and fast drama that the viewer can follow on the mobile phone, and make Stories that take place in places limited to a limited number of actors, and succeed in reaching the recipient with his various new interests.
