Shiga Prefecture announced on the 12th that 9 new people were confirmed infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
He also announced the death of a man in his 70s who had been confirmed infected.
A total of 311 people have been confirmed infected so far in the prefecture, and 3 have died.
