According to the Gohoku Fire Department Headquarters in Yamanashi Prefecture, a passerby found a man in his 60s collapsed in a field in Oizumi-cho, Hokuto City at 4:20 pm on the 12th and notified the fire department.

The man was taken to a hospital in the city on suspicion of heat stroke, but he died shortly thereafter.
