At around 17:00 on August 9, the Nuorilang Police Station in Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, Aba, Sichuan received an alarm call, stating that someone was lost and a companion fell into the water in the direction of Changhai in Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. The Administration of Jiuzhaigou Nature Reserve immediately coordinated the Jiuzhaigou Forest Fire Squadron, Jiuzhaigou Public Security Bureau and the Second People's Hospital of Jiuzhaigou County to rush to the scene for search and rescue.
After investigation, these 6 persons entered Jiuzhaigou Nature Reserve on foot from Songpan without approval. After crossing Jiuzhaigou Nature Reserve, they entered the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. , 6 people chose to call the police for help. After receiving the rescue notice, the Jiuzhaigou County Forest Fire Squadron dispatched 20 personnel at 19:00 to the Changhai Station where the incident occurred to conduct search and rescue operations.
Due to the limited conditions in the trapped area, the rescue can only be carried out by water transportation. After the unremitting efforts of rescuers, the trapped people were finally found at the mouth of Duojigou on the opposite bank of Changhai in Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, and all trapped people were rescued at 22:45.
The reporter learned from the Jiuzhaigou Nature Reserve Administration that these six people entered the Jiuzhaigou Nature Reserve without permission.
