  From 20 o'clock on August 10th to 8 o'clock on August 11, there was a heavy rainstorm in Ya'an. Lushan County, Yucheng District, Tianquan County, and Baoxing County of Ya'an City were severely affected. The rest of the provinces were all affected by different degrees of disasters.

  The main areas of this heavy rain fall in the main stream of Qingyi River, Mingshan River, Lushan River, and Baoxing River. The maximum 1-hour rainfall occurred at Mingshan Station, Mingshan District. The rainfall was 187.0mm, and the cumulative 3-hour rainfall exceeded 300mm. There were 2 stations, respectively. 355.0mm from Yuxi Station in Lushan County and 349.5mm from Qingyuan Station. The largest rainfall occurred at 428.5 mm at Luohe Station, Luyang Town, Lushan County. The rest of the rivers have different degrees of rising water process.

  During the flood, there were 5 stations with over-alert water levels, namely Lingguan Station and Duoyingping Station on the main stream of Qingyi River, Lushan Station on the tributaries of Lushan River, Mingshan River, Mingshan Station and Mengshan Station. No over-alarm occurred in other rivers. Water level. The maximum flow at Duoyingping Station on the Qingyi River occurred at 4:45 on the 11th. The peak water level was 589.50m, and the corresponding flow was 8220m3/s, which was 1.04m higher than the warning water level, and the water level varied by 8.38m, exceeding the highest water level in history.

  After the disaster, Ya'an City immediately initiated Level IV emergency response. The main leaders and related leaders of Ya'an City rushed to the disaster relief site as soon as possible to guide the rescue.
