The father of tenniswomen Venus and Serena Williams had, it seems, transferred the rights to his autobiography, Black and White: The Way I See It , released in 2014, to his son, before selling them to Overbrook Entertainment and Warner. Bros. in order to make the King Richard biopic . Chavoita Lesane, meanwhile, had an agreement with the companies TW3 Entertainment and Power Move Multi Media.

Case settled
After a few months and a trial, everyone "came to an agreement", as reported by ET Online, which obtained the legal documents.
