Bros. in order to make the King Richard biopic . Chavoita Lesane, meanwhile, had an agreement with the companies TW3 Entertainment and Power Move Multi Media.

The half-brother of the tennis champions as well as the production houses then filed a lawsuit against the company of Will Smith and Warner Bros., arguing that they were the sole owners of the rights to the life of Richard Williams.

Case settled

After a few months and a trial, everyone "came to an agreement", as reported by ET Online, which obtained the legal documents.

King Richard is slated for release in 2021. Will Smith is set to play Richard Williams, while the roles of Venus and Serena Williams will be played by Saniyya Sidney and Demi Singleton, respectively.
