Okinawa Prefecture announced on October 10 that it was confirmed that 52 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
With this, the number of confirmed infections in Okinawa is now 1179.
On the other hand, the U.S. Army reported that a new infection was confirmed at Camp Courtney, a base in the prefecture.
Now there are 315 confirmed infections among US military personnel in Okinawa.
