An Egyptian bride kills her husband with poison 5 days after her wedding

An Egyptian bride put a "gift" pill to her groom with juice 5 days after her wedding, due to her emotional relationship with others before their marriage.

The director of Al-Buhaira Security received a notification from Dilangat Central Hospital stating that M.A.L, 28 years old, resident of Ezbet Qabil Marine, who lives in Itay Al-Baroud Center, had been poisoned by a pill in the juice, and died after being transferred to the Alexandria University Hospital.

For his part, the father of the victim accused the wife of his son, Amira S. SA. (20 years), and a resident of the Al-Hajin estate belonging to the Dilengat Center, of killing his son, due to her previous refusal to marry him due to an emotional relationship with another young man.

A criminal investigation team was formed in the Buheira Security Directorate, which resulted in the arrest of the accused Amira and her lover, a resident of Nagaa Karim, affiliated with the Union Delngat Company, with whom she had a romantic relationship before her marriage, but denied her participation in the killing of her husband, and that she was the only one who carried out her crime.

According to Egyptian newspapers, the Damanhour Criminal Court referred the bride's papers to the Grand Mufti of Egypt, to express a legal opinion on her execution, due to her murder of her husband, and the court set a session on September 30th to pronounce the verdict.
