A boy in the sixth grade of elementary school is missing in the mountains of Joetsu, Niigata.

On the 10th, a 6th grader boy who went mountain climbing with his family in Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture, lost his way to the mountain while he was in the middle of the mountain, and the police decided to search from the morning.

Before 9 pm on the 10th, the mother of a 12-year-old boy who was in the sixth grade of elementary school living in Joetsu City reported to the police that he could not find the whereabouts of the child in the mountains.

According to police, the boy climbed Mt. Yoneyama at an altitude of about 990 meters in the city on the 10th, with his parents and sister's family of four, and arrived at the summit around 1:00 pm.

After having lunch on the spot, the boy started descent with his mother on a different course from his fathers, but he was lost on the way.

The boy was about 1 meter 42 cm tall and wore blue short-sleeved T-shirt, black pants and silver sneakers.

The police and fire department decided to start the search from the morning, taking into account the circumstances of the family at the time.
