After that, the police entered the Next Media Building with a court warrant to conduct a search. The police said that the current operation is still in progress and does not rule out more arrests.

  Senior Superintendent Li Guihua of the National Security Service of the Hong Kong Police met with the media at 11:30 on the 10th to explain the case. He said that the police had shown the court warrant to the responsible person for review. He also said that because the search involved a media organization, the police had already conducted a preliminary review. Departments and reporters involved in news materials would not search.

  It is understood that the police took an arrest on the morning of the 10th and arrested Li Zhiying in his home in Ho Man Tin and searched him inside. This is the first time that the police have arrested Li Zhiying on suspicion of violating the Hong Kong National Security Law. According to Hong Kong media reports, Li Zhiying's two sons and several senior officials of One Media were also arrested that day.

  Subsequently, the police announced on social platforms that at least 7 people were arrested in this operation, all local men, aged between 39 and 72, who were suspected of committing crimes such as colluding with foreign countries or foreign forces to endanger national security and conspiracy to commit fraud. The police said that the current operation is still in progress and does not rule out more arrests.

  At about 10 am on the same day, hundreds of uniformed police officers arrived at the Next Media Building in Tseung Kwan O and entered the premises according to a court order to search and seize evidence to investigate crimes endangering national security. At 10:45 in the morning, Li Zhiying, who was taken to the Kowloon City Police Station for investigation earlier, was also taken back to the Next Media Building for investigation.
