"Climb Niu Mountain, take good luck, be a good man." After three years of intensive construction, the Dehua Shiniushan Scenic Area officially opened on August 8 to welcome guests, providing tourists with a brand new experience of taking the ropeway, watching the waterfall, and climbing the main peak. The newly built ultra-long ropeway with a total length of 7,168 meters in the scenic area is currently the longest ropeway in Fujian, with a height difference of 1088 meters. The ropeway up and down the mountain takes about 30 minutes, creating a unique full sightseeing experience route in Shiniu Mountain.
The Shiniu Mountain Scenic Area is located in Shuikou Town, northeast of Dehua County. The main peak is 1782 meters above sea level. It is named after the huge boulders on the mountain resemble cows. It is well-known and successively won the four national brand titles of "National Forest Park", "National Geological Park", "National Water Conservancy Scenic Area", and "National 4A Tourist Scenic Spot". The scenic spot integrates the functions of parent-child, scientific research, adventure, sightseeing, leisure and entertainment, attracting many tourists. (Reporter Coning)
