Robert Fife revealed in statements to the episode (9/8/2020) of the "Beyond the News" program that the Canadian authorities had stopped the killing squad that bin Salman had sent to get rid of Al-Jabri, who was working as an advisor to the former Crown Prince Muhammad bin Nayef, and confirmed that the squad includes accused persons Being involved in the assassination of the Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, who was killed in his country's consulate in Istanbul.

Fyfe confirmed, quoting Canadian intelligence sources who received information from their Turkish counterpart stating the existence of the killing squad on its territory, indicating that the Canadian authorities stopped the members of the squad as soon as they tried to enter their lands, and that they denied in the investigations that they knew each other, and that they refused to allow them to enter their lands, except for one of them. He was holding a diplomatic passport.

The Canadian journalist explained that, as a result, a security team was assigned to guard the life of Al-Jabri, who confirmed to the Canadian and American authorities together that he was facing the risk of death by bin Salman, and that the latter wanted to get rid of him at any cost.

Fife also talked about contacts and meetings that took place between American and Canadian intelligence agencies, some of which were invited by Ibn Saad Al-Jabri, where he was informed of the awareness of Canada and America of bin Salman's efforts to get rid of his father, and that the death squad tried to reach Canada via the United States of America.

What does
Al-Jabri possess? In response to a question about Mohammed bin Salman’s insistence on killing al-Jabri in all ways, Fife says that the reason for this is the important information that al-Jabri possesses, which constitute a serious threat to the Saudi crown prince, including documented information related to corruption cases, and others related to the former crown prince Mohammed bin Salman, some of which are related to secret transactions between bin Salman and Russia, and the disclosure of these transactions will affect the relationship of the Saudi crown prince with Washington.

Fife also talked about Al-Jabri's possession of documented information for Saudi agents involved in corruption cases and suspicious activities, and he has minutes of serious meetings attended by bin Salman himself, all of which are documented with dates and evidence.

In addition, Saad Al-Faqih, head of the Islamic Reform Movement, who resides in London, confirmed that Al-Jabri spent his last two years in Saudi Arabia gathering documents and evidence against bin Salman, including audio recordings and dangerous phone calls.

Al-Faqih believed that Bin Salman's insistence on assassinating Al-Jabri, after the Khashoggi assassination scandal, indicates an unprecedented political stupidity and blockage, relying in all of this on the support of US President Donald Trump.

Al-Faqih stressed the seriousness of bin Salman's position after the case filed against him by Al-Jabri in a US federal court, and confirmed that the documents presented by Al-Jabri to the court are very dangerous, and that they threaten bin Salman's future, and said that the latter has only two options to confront the court, the first of which is to reconcile and appease Al-Jabri. At any price, and al-Faqih ruled out that al-Jabri would accept this even if bin Salman released his family in Saudi Arabia.

The second option is to jump to the throne and establish himself as the king of Saudi Arabia, by getting rid of his father, thus obtaining universal immunity that protects him from legal prosecution, even if the world will view him as a terrorist king.

As for the journalist Saad Bishara, he described the Canadian story about the attempt to assassinate Al-Jabri as Hollywood, and said that bin Salman was not so stupid until he attempted to assassinate Al-Jabri, after all the uproar that Khashoggi's murder sparked at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, and he also stressed the impossibility of bin Salman sending the assassination squad across the territories American because that would threaten his relationship with Trump.
