Social Media Treatments!

A girl felt a high temperature, so she decided to self-medicate. She put compresses on her face for four days without benefit. She searched on Google and the "Social Media" sites for a traditional way to relieve symptoms or treatment. When her husband got enough, he dragged her to the hospital and there she was given a fever reducer, and after the diagnosis, she was injected with an antibiotic.

If this girl had continued to search for a cure on Google, she would have died in 2020 of a disease that was killing people 200 years ago, i.e. the days of Napoleon Bonaparte! What prevented the girl from going to the hospital? The answer is not "Covid-19". Hospitals are now empty of it, and praise be to God, but the one who prevented it is "Social Media".

A man was injured in the back for a long time and has a relative who studied medicine, and she advises him not to go to the hospital so that doctors do not exploit him and write medicines for him made there in the West, where "absolute evil and weaving conspiracies." The poor man believed her and began to recite the Qur’an about his injury, hoping that a cure would come from heaven, and he also resorted to fake accounts that advised him of popular treatments that were used perhaps for a century, and to this day my friend tells me that a man cannot leave the house.

The girl and the man who have been brainwashed with nonsense spread over accounts that spread lies, false information and half-truths or facts out of context about the absolute evil of cosmic conspiracies are all illusions. The girl told her husband that she did not want pharmaceutical companies to profit from her illness, and that Bill Gates was the maker of diseases and her medicine!

Everything that the girl mentioned is spread on social media accounts, and there is no mention in the sober media, because it is simply not true. I do not want to go into the conspiracy talk because I am tired of him, which is the conspiracy like a creed (ideology), if a person is raised on it, he will never budge from it, and vice versa, for he who is used to obtaining information from the right sources - a rare intelligence these days - will not be deceived by nonsense.

Why do we not read the "Social Media" nonsense in local and international newspapers? If you ask those who derive nonsense from these platforms, they will say: Do not believe what is mentioned in the newspapers, because it is not all the truth! What strikes me is on what grounds should these accounts be considered to reflect the truth?

The sober media possesses tools to verify information and on this basis built its credibility since the nineteenth century, while the accounts of "Social Media" depend on fake videos of liars with private agendas who put facts out of context, and the evidence is that the communication platforms themselves decided to censor their content to stop rumors and lies.

Anti-vaccination groups existed before "Social Media" and their presence increased more on these platforms, and they had no scientific reasons to refuse vaccination, and because of them, some of the old diseases that humanity thought they got rid of have returned. I am not a doctor and I do not claim experience, but science has proven that vaccination was a major cause of eliminating diseases and epidemics and saving millions of lives.

In Arabic: If a person dies due to his high temperature, and his treatment turns out to be simple, or a person becomes permanently disabled because of his refusal of available treatment, who is responsible for distorting facts and spreading myths? Their publishers or their endorsers?
