On Twitter, social justice advocates accused MMA fighter and Deadpool star Gina Carano of being “racist,” because she, in their opinion, showed insufficient support for the Black Lives Matters (BLM) movement and dared to voice her own opinion.

Carano rebuffed critics for several days, after which she became a target for the "awakened" party, and on Wednesday the hashtag #ginacaranoisoverparty ("party in honor of the end of Gina Carano") began to appear on the list of trends. The scandal seems to have started because she posted on her page a black and white photograph taken, apparently, shortly before World War II, which depicts men stretching out their arms in the infamous Nazi salute, among which is in the circle is the only one who refused to perform this gesture.

Subsequently, the performer of the role in the TV series "Mandalorian" was bombarded with tweets of trolls who claimed that they were trying to "enlighten" her, and at the same time accused her of racism and reproached her for not expressing support for the BLM movement on her social networks.

Carano, true to her fighting nature, christened these trolls "cowards and bullies." In her tweet, she wrote: “Based on my own experience, I will say that yelling at a person, calling him a racist, while he is actually NOT a racist (and any post and / or attempt to understand the issue will confirm this), is destiny, excuse me, not "educators" ... but cowards and bullies. "

In my experience, screaming at someone that they are a racist when they are indeed NOT a racist & any post and / or research you do will show you those exact facts. Then I'm sorry, these people are not “educators” .. they are cowards and bullies.

In a world where there is real racism and real problems, we have reached the point where thousands of people are discussing the "abolition" of a person who has expressed an opinion they do not understand. It all comes down to this. To misunderstanding.

The hungry crowd scouring social media in search of victims is used to eating catchy slogans and trendy, digestible topics.

So Carano's thoughts on the topic of combating racism in a broader sense (or even trying to start a discussion on this) - for them, of course, this is something completely incomprehensible.

Her opinion does not fit into the logic of binary politics, which America so eagerly revels in, and critics try to enroll her in the ranks of one side, denying her the right to state her position on this issue herself.

In general, of all the people that the BLM trolls could choose as their target, Carano is, of course, a strange choice. When a movement that is supposed to be for equality targets a woman who empowers other women in today's culture through her career as a fighter and an actress, and also makes efforts to counter trafficking and sexual exploitation, it’s not doing well. better experience.

The good news about this story is that Carano did not back down. Celebrities and politicians often have perspiration on their foreheads when their name appears in hot topics in connection with some controversial story. There is usually a quick public apology after that, and the person reassures liberal critics that he is actually on their side. Even such a minor offense as voiced doubts that a good president can emerge from Kanye West can serve as a reason for this.

Carano was right in not succumbing to this temptation and calling her critics cowards. They are cowards. Anyone who makes the target of his attacks on a woman because of an opinion that he, because of his limitations, is not able to understand or accept, and who attacks under the guise of "enlightenment" is truly a coward.

As for the most radical wing of the Black Lives Matters movement and the crowds of “awakened”, this is not about education, politics or even progress. The point here is subservience: say what they want, or they will threaten you and your career; do what they want or they will "cancel" you.

But Carano's example shows that if you just stand up for yourself, you can dispel the perceived strength of these leftist authoritarians, based on the fact that they have been pacified for years - a situation they have achieved by playing on people's fears.
