[Explanation] Shangluoxie Village is a Miao village in Tongzi County, Zunyi City, and Chen Demin, who just graduated from high school this year, is a native of Shangluoxie Village. It is located deep in the mountains, where the infrastructure used to be backward, and the villagers' education level is generally low. With the attention and help of all sectors of society, great changes have taken place in the village. Chen Demin said that when she was growing up, she received a lot of help so that she could successfully pass the college entrance examination, so she had the idea to help the children.

What we thought was that they came to help us, and then we didn’t know how to be grateful to them, and then we thought about helping these primary school students here, helping as many people as we can, and doing our best to help those who should be helped. .
[Explanation] Just after the college entrance examination this year, Chen Demin organized 8 friends in the village to put his ideas into practice. Through matchmaking by the village staff and door-to-door propaganda by small volunteer teams, soon the “Lotus Heart Volunteer Service Team” with an average age of only 15 years old reached an agreement and was established in early July this year, including Chen Demin and others. 9 volunteers serve 46 students of Miaoyin Primary School.

The conditions in our place have caused many networks to be inaccessible. Therefore, some families did not receive timely lectures during the online classes. After they come, they will make up for the courses that these students have left behind, and don't participate in an interest activity for students during the break, so that students can have a happy summer vacation.
[Explanation] Starting from July 24th, every day from 9 am to 1 pm, the volunteers will help the children solve the problems encountered in their studies, and also join the vocal music, dance and various small games to enrich the children Summer life. In Chen Demin's view, only after establishing a "small partner" relationship with the children through various activities can he truly be a good "summer parent".

When I came here at the beginning, every elementary school student has different basic abilities and different grades. We try our best to help them (do) homework, coach them, and guide them. Then sometimes when I talk about some questions and encounter some places they don’t understand, I tell them that those places are beautiful and ask them to go out and take a look.
[Explanation] Becoming a teacher after growing up has become the common wish of the team of 9 volunteers. They hope to use the knowledge they learn outside to feed back their hometown.
