Governor Omura of Aichi Prefecture held a press conference and announced that the number of new coronavirus infections newly confirmed in the prefecture would reach 175 by 4:00 pm.
This was below the record high of 193 on July 31st for one day, but exceeded 100 for the 12th consecutive day.
A total of 3011 people were confirmed infected in Aichi Prefecture.
