According to the official Weibo news of the Information Office of the People's Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, from 0:00 to 24:00 on August 6, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (including the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps) reported 26 new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia , 10 new asymptomatic infections, all in Urumqi; 20 newly cured and discharged confirmed cases, all of Urumqi cases; 12 asymptomatic infections were released from medical observation (11 in Urumqi, 1 in the Corps).
As of 24:00 on August 6, there are currently 643 confirmed cases (9 critically ill and 19 critically ill) in Xinjiang (including the Corps), including 640 in Urumqi, 1 in Kashgar (an epidemic-related case in Urumqi), and Changji Prefecture 1 case (imported from Urumqi City), 1 case from the Corps; there are 128 cases of asymptomatic infection, including 127 cases from Urumqi City and 1 case from Changji Prefecture (imported from Urumqi City); 19,546 people are still under medical observation.
From 0:00 on July 15 to 24:00 on August 6, a total of 80 confirmed cases were cured and discharged, and 58 cases of asymptomatic infection were released from medical observation.
