Infection confirmation of male employees in their 20s at NHK Production Bureau August 7th 18:00
It was confirmed that one male employee in his twenties at the NHK Production Bureau was newly infected with the new coronavirus, and the number of confirmed infections at the Production Bureau became two in total.
This staff was in charge of program production, and was working face-to-face with the staff in their thirties who were confirmed to be infected on the 4th of this month, and was certified as a rich contact person by the public health center.
I haven't been at work since the 1st of this month, and I have been working at home from the 2nd, but I had a fever and other symptoms on the 4th, and I had a PCR test on the 5th and confirmed the infection on the 7th. There were 2 people in total confirming the infection at the production bureau.
NHK has already carried out disinfection of the workplace, and is waiting for the staff who are considered to be rich contacts at home.
There will be no impact on broadcasting, and NHK will continue to work with the public health center to prevent the spread of infection.
