American actor David Duchovny was born on August 7, 1960 in New York. In his youth, he paid much attention to his studies, thanks to which he graduated from Princeton University and subsequently could receive a Ph.D. at Yale. However, in the late 1980s, Duchovny became interested in acting and changed his field of activity. At the dawn of his career, he starred in the films "Business Woman", "California" and "Twin Peaks". The actor became world famous for the role of FBI special agent Fox Mulder in the series "The X-Files". In recent years, Duchovny rarely works in cinema: he prefers to write books and make music.
