According to the Immigration Bureau, one of the staff at the Tokyo Immigration Bureau in Minato Ward, Tokyo, had a fever and other symptoms and underwent PCR testing, and the infection was confirmed on the 31st of last month.

For this reason, 26 people who were supposed to have contacted the staff were kept at home, but two of them were subjected to PCR test and confirmed to be infected on the 5th and 6th.

All three were male employees in their twenties, and they were engaged in tasks related to renewing the period of stay of foreigners.

The Immigration Bureau of Tokyo will take measures to prevent infection, such as disinfection of facilities, and will continue to work as a contact after 7 days as usual.
