Born in September 1957, Wang Zaisheng was born in Linxian County, Shanxi Province. He has a university degree. He joined the Communist Party of China in December 1978 and started working in March 1975.
From March 1975 to February 1993, Wang Zaisheng worked successively in Sanjiao Town, Linxian County, Luliang City, Taiyuan Heavy Machinery College, and Provincial Party Committee Organization Department. During this period, from October 1978 to July 1982, Wang Zaisheng worked at Taiyuan Heavy Machinery College study.
From February 1993 to April 2006, Wang Zaisheng successively served as deputy director of the Party Member Management Office of the Organization Department of Shanxi Provincial Party Committee, a division-level organizer and deputy director of the Party Member Management Office, and director of the Party Member Management Office.
