Yesterday (4th) the newly confirmed cases were all screened out through nucleic acid testing, of which 2 cases were screened in the community, and 20 cases were for intensive medical observation personnel. Starting from August 4, we have started a new round of nucleic acid testing for communities, residential communities, and concentrated medical observation points where confirmed cases, suspected cases, and asymptomatic infections have occurred, as well as key populations, and high-risk groups.
[Explanation] According to the official website of the Xinjiang Health Commission, from 0:00 to 24:00 on August 4, Urumqi City reported 22 new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia and 13 new cases of asymptomatic infection. On the same day, 10 new confirmed cases were cured and discharged, and 5 new asymptomatic infections were released from medical observation. A total of 52 confirmed cases have been cured and discharged, and 42 cases of asymptomatic infections have been released from medical observation.
