Since Saturday, Covid-19 screening tests have been “compulsory and systematic” at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse for all passengers over 12 years old who come from Israel, Serbia or Turkey. EuroAirport specifies on its website that as a result, “the entry deadlines for French and Swiss territories will be extended. "
These tests are carried out at the airport, before passport controls, by agents from the Grand-Est regional health agency. It was the French government that called for these screenings at the Franco-Swiss airport.
